Life...

Life in my 40's, I'm finding out, has found me very thoughtful about "what could have been?" more so than "what lies ahead?" Sometimes I wish I would have had the wisdom I have now about parenting, being a good wife and daughter; really, just being a good person. I am nearing the end and privilege of having raised 2 great children and experienced the cancer journey and death of my sweet father. I have had some wonderful experiences in between, but these two 'events' have caused me to stop and evaluate what kind of person I have been and how I can become better. It is interesting how the events in our life sometimes will open our eyes to how those we love and are closest to us, really SEE us. It has set me on a journey...to be a better ME...
